Last Friday, I preached about Jesus as the Alpha and the Omega. One thing in that sermon that created a deeper burden in my heart to reach out for more young people for Jesus is the fact that most young people today do not have any idea what their real value is and where it comes from. Some of them base their value on friends. Some base theirs on skills and talents. On family background. Even on their bank accounts and the number of cars they own.

The EN2010 was such a blast. It was encouraging, inspiring and faith-building to see different nations worship God altogether at the same time. Everything about the World Conference was just great. From the worship to the production numbers, from the testimonies to the preaching, you could see God move in the hearts of everyone.It was as if everyone got a foretaste of heaven.

Just like in the Scriptures,

Precious moments are worth remembering right?

I can still remember vividly my one of the best moments. When I was 6 my Dad brought the entire family together with my Lolo and Lola in San Pablo, Laguna to eat in a “bahay kubo” in the middle of the fishpond. I can still remember the cold breeze while eating “sinigang na sugpo” and “inihaw na liempo”. It was a surprise for us (kids) actually.

I was going to church one Sunday when a woman handed me a pamphlet that shares salvation and how to get saved. She was giving out these copies of the "passport to heaven"

Growing up as a person we face different obstacles. We face “Goliaths” in our lives we face tests, problems and shortcomings in life. There are times we want to give up and quit.

The world is sometimes unfair isn’t it? We do all our best but the more we give our best it seems like these Goliaths are doing their best as well to pin us down.
